Description
The Trek'n Eat Trekking Biscuits, also known by their German name Hartkeks, are light energy biscuits that the Bundeswehr and international armed forces have carried for decades as part of their field rations. One pack contains 125 grams of 12 stacked biscuits, packed in a sturdy foil pouch that slides into the side pocket of a backpack.
Why Hartkeks
The recipe focuses on energy density, light weight and long shelf life. Perfect for mountain treks, canoe trips, in your evacuation bag or as a supplement to a warm emergency meal. The biscuits taste lightly sweet and neutral; they are so dry that you can easily wash them down with some water or tea.
