Do not start with the biggest unit, start with the list of things that must keep running. A phone, an emergency radio and lighting are covered by power banks and batteries, which take almost no space. A fridge, a heating pump or power tools call for a power station, and there you want to check the surge an appliance pulls the moment it switches on. If an outage drags on, recharging is the real bottleneck: pick a power station with solar panel, or a separate one from Solar panels, portable for travel and fixed with inverters and mounting for a roof. Permanent buffering belongs under Home batteries. Check cables and accessories so the connectors match.
