The 3-month NRG-5 supply is the mid-size step between a week's supply and a half-year supply. With 90 blocks of 500 grams you have three months of full daily rations for one person, or a month and a half for a two-person household. Together the 90 blocks make up 810 individual wheat bars and around 207,000 kcal. Why NRG-5 NRG-5 is an international humanitarian emergency ration, used by the United Nations, the Red Cross and defence organisations, among others. The bars are made from baked wheat, vegetable fat, sugar, soy and plant proteins, supplemented with vitamins and minerals. They are vegan, GMO-free and lactose-free and can be eaten straight away, without cooking or water.
