Material The emergency blanket is made of strong PET film with a thin aluminium coating. That combination makes it waterproof, windproof and at the same time very light and compact. At 130 by 210 centimetres it is considerably larger than the standard rescue blanket of 160x210 or smaller, so you can wrap yourself up better. Our tip If you sleep outdoors early or late in the year: place the emergency blanket under your mat or air bed as extra insulation against cold draughts from below.
