The Berkey Light Water Filter - Up to 15.2 Litres Per Hour

The Berkey Light water filter is developed as a lighter alternative to the popular Berkey Big. Instead of stainless steel it uses a BPA- and BPS-free plastic housing, which makes the filter considerably lighter. Ideal for places where you move the filter regularly: holiday home, caravan, boat, or for children and seniors who struggle with the weight of the steel version. Capacity and throughput With a capacity of 10.4 litres and a flow rate of up to 15.2 litres per hour, the Berkey Light easily serves a household of 2 to 4 people. It runs entirely on gravity, without power or a mains connection. Black Berkey filter technology The Berkey Light uses the same Black Berkey filter elements as the steel Berkey models. These remove bacteria and viruses (>99.999%), protozoa, chlorine (100%), heavy metals (lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium), pesticides, pharmaceutical residues and microplastics.
