What the codes mean - A1: organic vapours (boiling point >65°C), class 1 capacity (up to 0.1 vol.% or 1000 ppm) - B1: inorganic gases (Cl2, H2S, HCN) class 1 - E1: acid gases (SO2, HCl) class 1 - K1: ammonia and amines class 1 - P3: aerosols and solid particles, 99.95% efficiency - R: reusable, usable for multiple working days - D: dolomite-dust tested (clogging test with fine mine dust) Use cases Suitable for scenarios with light to medium concentrations of gases and aerosols: industrial maintenance, laboratories, asbestos removal combined with solvents, fire and smoke aerosols, CBRN preparedness with unknown exposure. For heavy exposures (high concentrations, enclosed spaces) choose a class 2 variant such as ABEK2P3. Compatibility Climax 757-series dual-filter masks (757-N, 757-S).
