Berkey Crown Water Filter - Up to 98.4 Litres Per Hour

The Berkey Crown water filter is the largest gravity water filter system in the Berkey family. With a capacity of 23 litres and a throughput of up to 98.4 litres per hour (with 8 Black Berkey elements), it effortlessly purifies drinking water for a large family, group or emergency community without any need for electricity or a mains water connection. How the Berkey Crown works You fill the upper chamber with water from the tap, rain barrel, stream or another source. Under the influence of gravity, the water flows through two to eight Black Berkey filter elements to the lower chamber. There you draw off the purified water via the supplied spigot. No pumps, no power, no filters you have to replace every six months: one set of Black Berkey elements lasts up to about 22,700 litres per pair. Black Berkey filter technology The Black Berkey filter elements remove, among other things, bacteria and viruses (>99.999%), protozoa, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium, 100% of chlorine, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues and microplastics.
