The 33 cm Berkey sight glass spigot is specially developed for the Berkey Crown, the largest model in the Berkey family with a 23-litre capacity. Because the Crown has a taller silhouette than the smaller models, you need a longer sight glass tube to make the full water level visible. Why a sight glass With a 23-litre lower chamber it can be hard to judge whether there is still half a chamber left or whether it is time to refill. The transparent tube shows the entire water column, handy for family use and certainly in emergencies when you are rationing. Compatibility Exclusively for the Berkey Crown. The 33 cm length is matched to this lower chamber; anything shorter would miss the top.
