Berkey Black Water Filters - 2 Pieces - 22,700 Litres of Water

A set of Black Berkey filters is included as standard with all our Berkey water filters. Most Berkey systems offer the option to add extra elements for a faster flow rate and a longer service life. The filters can be cleaned under the tap and constantly sterilise themselves throughout their service life. Best water filter for the home The Black Berkey filters have been tested for quality by independent parties, and the results were outstanding time after time. For example, they ran water completely full of nasty bacteria through the Berkey filter system, and no bacteria at all could be found in the filtered water. The water filter had therefore filtered out 100% of the bacteria. You can find the test results here (English). In the packaging The filters are sold in pairs. So 1 set contains 2 filters. Each filter is good for 11,350 litres of clean drinking water (22,700 total). With average use, the filters should be replaced after 8-10 years. Besides the 2 filters, the packaging contains: 2 wing nuts for fastening, 1 rubber washer to make the filters ready for use, and the instructions. TIP: To make the filters last even longer, we recommend using the Biofilm drops. These combat biofilm build-up and give your Berkey system a longer service life.
