Gas Mask Filters

A professional gas mask is built to last — but the filter must be replaced periodically. Thanks to the standard threaded connection, replacing the filter is quick and simple: just unscrew the old one and attach a new one.

This applies to both half-face and full-face gas masks.
We stock a wide selection of replacement filters, most of which feature a universal EN 148/1 connection, making them compatible with various gas mask brands.

One of our most popular options is the Climax P3 gas mask filter.
We carry filters with P1, P2, and P3 protection levels — the most commonly used standards.

• P3 filters offer the highest level of protection, guarding against high concentrations of toxic substances, including radioactive particles, bacteria, viruses, and carcinogenic materials.

• These filters are best combined with a full-face gas mask, such as the Climax 731 model.

When Should I Replace My Gas Mask Filter?

Replace your gas mask filter as soon as you start to smell something while wearing it.
First, ensure the mask is properly sealed to your face — even small gaps can allow unfiltered air in. People with beards, for example, often struggle to get a perfect seal.

If the mask fits well but you still detect odors, the filter needs replacement.
While a worn filter doesn’t immediately endanger your health, its filtration efficiency decreases over time, so it’s best to replace it as soon as possible.
